NASA Langley's Advanced Measurements and Data Systems Branch (AMDSB) is responsible for research and development of experimental measurement and sensing techniques for aerospace research applications.
AMDSB is comprised of an experienced, diverse research staff with expertise ranging from analytical chemistry to optical physics to advanced electronics. AMDSB has over a dozen laboratories with a myriad of research topics being pursued simultaneously. The researchers at AMDSB have accrued numerous awards for their research, including R&D 100 Awards and AIAA Engineer of the Year.
Changing the Way We Measure Things
AMDSB strives to be the world leader in measurement science technology for aerospace research applications. We continue to devise and develop innovative measurement systems to quantify critical flow, structural, and chemical phenomena and to present the acquired knowledge in enlightening ways.
Knowledge is power - Welcome to AMDSB
