Development of Autonomous Sensor Fusion Data Module
William Humphreys (w/ Michigan State Univ.)

Objective:

  • Develop methodologies for on-board processing of MEMS sensor array signal to extract lower bandwidth metadata for near real-time determination of flow separation and reattachment locations

Accomplishments:

  • Developed low-cost pressure sensor array system (80)
  • Completed preliminary design of reattachment detection data module
  • Scheduled SBRT tests in June-01
